What You Will Learn

When you download the packages (from your receipt after you order it for free) it has three separate zip folders, one for each year and you will want to click on each year’s link.  These are large files.

We have included tips from three of the most recent years in which we have Exam Prep courses.  We held programs for different practice areas in different years, and some of the same practice areas each year (like Civil Appellate Law).

We recommend you take the time to listen to all of them, even those that are not in your practice area, as you’ll pick up some good study tips and advice on how to approach the exam from all of them, regardless of practice area.

2015 CA Legal Specialist Exam Prep Course Study Tips Compilation Audio

This 2.5 hour Audio Recording contains four of our “Exam Tips/What to Expect/How to Study” sessions from our 2015 Exam Prep courses in one combined .mp3 file. Faculty information on study tips, what to expect, how the bar creates and grades exams, and other insight from specialists who were previously on the commission that wrote and graded the exams, or are specialists who have taken the exam.

The recorded sessions are from topic-specific programs, so they will include tips specifically related to a practice area that might not be your practice area. However, we wanted to provide all of the tip sessions from all of our Exam Prep courses, because you will likely benefit from other tips provided during that program that are not legal area specific.  Please use your judgment when discerning which tips apply to your topical area of law and which would apply to any exam, regardless of legal subject matter.
