Our latest Featured Speaker is Arya Attari Li of Lockton Companies, LLC!

Arya is speaking at our new Florida webinar, Will the Court Approve It? Attorney’s Fees, Billing Entries, and Fee Hearings, on October 14, 2026!

She is teaching with the Honorable Milena Abreu of Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit, who currently serves in the Hialeah Civil Division.

Whether you are seeking attorney’s fees and costs or opposing a fee request, obtaining, or avoiding, a substantial fee award often depends on far more than simply prevailing in the case. From establishing entitlement and proving a reasonable fee to preparing persuasive billing records and presenting a compelling fee petition to the court, attorney’s fees and costs requests present numerous strategic and procedural challenges that can significantly affect the amount ultimately awarded. This practical webinar will guide attorneys through every stage of preparing, supporting, challenging, and presenting attorney’s fees and costs requests.

The program covers establishing entitlement to recover attorney’s fees; calculating a reasonable fee: the lodestar method; establishing a reasonable hourly rate; proving reasonable time expended; presenting a persuasive fee petition; and practical takeaways. Attendees will also receive a sample proposed fee order they can adapt for their own practice.

If your attorneys can’t attend live, the full program is available via OnDemand Streaming or Recorded Package Downloads. Group licenses are available for firms and agencies.
