Our latest Featured Speaker is Peter J. Klock, II of Bast Amron LLP!
Peter is speaking at our Mastering the Deposition 101: The Nuts and Bolts (FL), on November 10 and 12, 2026!
Geared for the newer Florida litigator, this comprehensive two-part program teaches you how to take, defend, and use depositions effectively. Your faculty will also provide depo demonstrations for most of the critical sessions to illustrate their points.
On November 12, Peter comments during “Deposition Objections” with David E. Cannella, then closes the program teaching “Handling the Difficult Witness and/or Opposing Counsel,” with David commenting. Peter’s session covers dealing with an angry opposing counsel, when opposing counsel yells, what to do when the witness keeps saying “I don’t remember,” what to do when you know the witness is lying, keeping the deposition under control, whether to call the judge, and how to avoid calling the judge. It also includes a demonstration and discussion of both types of difficult depos (difficult witnesses and opposing counsel).
If your attorneys can’t attend live, the full program is available via OnDemand Streaming or Recorded Package Downloads. Group licenses are available for firms and agencies.
