Join us for our 21st Annual California Superior Court Boot Camp: The Nuts and Bolts, a two-part webinar that has set the standard in litigation training for more than two decades. There’s a reason this program continues to draw strong reviews and repeat attendees year after year. It’s simply exceptional.
Designed specifically for attorneys litigating in California state court, this intensive, practical program walks you through most every phase of your case, from the first pleading through pre-trial motions, while sharing invaluable insights from both sides of the bench.
Throughout the program, you’ll hear from sitting and recently retired Superior Court judges who will provide candid commentary on what they see in their courtrooms every day, what works, and what doesn’t.
Hon. Kira L. Klatchko, Retired, and now in ADR at JAMS, adds her two cents throughout Part 1, and Hon. Laura A. Seigle does the same throughout Part 2. Judge Klatchko served nine years on the Superior Court of California, Riverside County, seven of them presiding over an unlimited civil department, and now serves as a neutral with JAMS. Judge Seigle sits in a civil courtroom on the Los Angeles Superior Court and has sat pro tem on the California Court of Appeal.
Judge Klatchko has been speaking at our seminars for almost twenty years, beginning with almost all of our appellate related programs, as she is a Certified Legal Specialist in Appellate Law, and then, additionally, as a judge at our Superior Court Boot Camps.
Judge Seigle has spoken at our Annual Superior Court Boot Camp since 2021. Her evaluations are so fabulous that we invite her back year after year.
Their perspectives, combined with practical instruction from experienced plaintiff and defense litigators, make this program a must for anyone practicing in Superior Court.
Our fantastic faculty also includes Joshua M. Arnold of Alexander Fehr LLP, Damian D. Capozzola of The Law Offices of Damian D. Throughout the program, the judges provide practical, experience-based advice on pleading and motion pitfalls, discovery management and sanctions, effective oral advocacy, summary judgment strategies, and trial readiness.
